Nutmeg Spiced Cookies - Recipe

Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

1 tsp TOP FOOD Nutmeg Powder

1 tsp TOP FOOD Cinnamon Powder

1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature

3/4 cup granulated sugar

1/4 cup brown sugar

1 large egg

1 tsp TOP LURE Vanilla Essence

Directions:

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and TOP FOOD Nutmeg, Cinnamon Powder.

3. In a large bowl, cream the butter and both sugars until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes.

4. Beat in the egg and TOP LURE Vanilla Essence.

5. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients in 2-3 parts, mixing until just combined.

6. Using a tablespoon or cookie scoop, drop dough balls onto the prepared baking sheet.

7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until the edges are lightly golden and the centers are set.

8. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
