Masala Chicken - Recipe

Ingredients:

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast or thighs, cut into small pieces

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 onion, chopped

3 garlic cloves, minced

1 tablespoon ginger paste

2 tablespoons TOP FOOD Chicken Masala 

1 teaspoon TOP FOOD Cumin Powder 

1/2 teaspoon TOP FOOD Coriander Powder 

1/4 teaspoon TOP FOOD Turmeric Powder 

1/4 teaspoon TOP FOOD Chili Powder

1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes

1/2 cup water

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh cilantro, chopped, for garnish

Instructions:

1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 5-7 minutes, until browned on all sides. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

2. Add the onion, garlic, and ginger paste to the skillet and sauté for 2-3 minutes, until softened.

3. Add the TOP FOOD Chicken Masala powder, Cumin, Coriander, Turmeric, and Chili and stir to coat the onions and garlic.

4. Add the diced tomatoes and water to the skillet and bring to a simmer.

5. Return the chicken to the skillet and stir to coat with the sauce.

6. Cover and cook for 10-15 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened. If the sauce is too thick, add more water as needed.

7. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.

8. Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve hot with rice or naan bread.
