Coriander

Coriander is a spice that comes from the dried seeds of the coriander plant. The plant is commonly known as cilantro in North America, but the leaves and stems of the plant are used as an herb, while the seeds are used as a spice.

Coriander is a popular spice in Indian, Middle Eastern, and Asian cuisines, which has a warm, slightly sweet, and citrusy flavor. It is used in many dishes such as curry powder, marinades, soups and stews, baked goods, spice rubs, and pickling. The spice provides a unique flavor and is a common ingredient in lentil and chickpea-based dishes. Coriander is also used in baking to add a warm and slightly sweet flavor.
