Ajwain Chapati - Recipe

Ingredients:

2 cups whole wheat flour

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon TOP FOOD Ajwain Seeds

1/2 cup water

2 tablespoons ghee or oil

Instructions:

1. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, and TOP FOOD Ajwain Seeds.

2. Gradually add water and knead the dough until it becomes smooth and pliable.

3. Divide the dough into small balls.

4. Roll each ball into a flat, round disc with a rolling pin.

5. Heat a griddle or a tawa over medium-high heat.

6. Place the rolled Chapati on the hot griddle and cook for about 30 seconds on one side.

7. Flip the Chapati and cook for another 30 seconds.

8. Brush the top of the Chapati with a little bit of ghee or oil and flip again.

9. Cook for another 30 seconds or until both sides are lightly browned and crispy.

10. Repeat with the remaining dough balls.

11. Serve the ajwain Chapati hot with a side of yogurt, pickle or chutney.
