Ginger Bread Cookies - Recipe

Ingredients:

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

2 tsp TOP FOOD Ginger Powder

1 tsp TOP FOOD Cinnamon Powder

1/2 tsp TOP FOOD Clove Powder

3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup brown sugar, packed

1 large egg

1/4 cup molasses

Directions:

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt,TOP FOOD Ginger Powder, Cinnamon, and Cloves. Set aside.

3. In a large bowl, beat the softened butter and brown sugar together until light and fluffy.

4. Beat in the egg and molasses until well combined.

5. Gradually add in the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.

6. Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheet.

7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly browned.

8. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
