Poussin Sauce Blend

Top Food Poussin Sauce Blend is a Kenyan spice blend used to add a fiery kick to a range of dishes. To prepare the sauce, simply simmer a tablespoon of butter/margarine in a pan over medium heat, then add a tablespoon of Top Food Poussin Sauce Blend and cook for a minute. Next, add your choice of food, such as fries, fried chicken, fried paneer/halloumi, fried fish, or boiled eggs and toss well with the sauce before serving.

Poussin Chips - Recipe

Ingredients:

1 pound of potatoes, peeled and cut into thin fries

Vegetable oil, for frying

Salt, to taste

1 tablespoon of butter or margarine

1 tablespoon of TOP FOOD Poussin Sauce Blend

Instructions:

1. Rinse and dry the cut potatoes thoroughly.

2. Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or a large pot over medium-high heat until it reaches 375°F (190°C).

3. Add the potatoes to the hot oil in batches, and fry for about 3-4 minutes or until they turn golden brown and crispy.

4. Use a slotted spoon to remove the fries from the oil and transfer them to a paper towel-lined plate to drain the excess oil.

5. While the fries are frying, prepare the sauce.

6. Melt the butter or margarine in a pan over medium heat.

7. Add the Top Food Poussin Sauce Blend to the pan and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

8. Once all the fries are done frying, transfer them to a large bowl.

9. Pour the sauce over the fries and toss well to coat.

10. Sprinkle some salt over the fries, to taste.

11. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Note: You can adjust the amount of TOP FOOD Poussin Sauce Blend to your taste preference. If you like it spicier, you can add more of the seasoning blend.

• Vegetable oil, for frying
